Job summary

A global procurement firm is seeking a procurement specialist for a 6-9 month contract in Georgetown. The role involves identifying inefficiencies, developing suppliers, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Ideal candidates should have at least three years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with expertise in negotiation and Microsoft Office. This position requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in procurement activities in large-scale oil and gas.
  • Lean Six Sigma and TCO knowledge are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve inefficiencies in material acquisition and service contracts.
  • Develop new suppliers following procurement policies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement improvements.
