Job description
Responsibilities
- Team Supervision: Train, motivate, and oversee Line Leaders and Production Assistants to achieve daily targets.
- Process Compliance: Communicate and monitor adherence to process changes and safety procedures.
- Shift Coordination: Ensure smooth shift changeovers and provide feedback on production issues.
- Production Management: Maintain equipment in production mode, escalate non-production uses, and initiate quality re-captures.
- Planning and Reporting: Manage manpower and materials to meet targets, review WIP reports, and prepare output reports.
- 5S Implementation: Enforce 5S standards and compliance with SOPs.
- Collaboration: Work with support groups on production matters.
- People Management: Lead daily briefings and prepare shift performance reports.
- Welfare and Discipline: Address team grievances, handle misconduct, and coordinate cross-training.
- Quality Accountability: Ensure SOP and specification compliance.
- Defect Management: Verify and recapture defects, escalate issues, and follow up on quality performance changes.
- Communication: Relay quality alerts and information to relevant teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering, preferably with supervisory experience.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Language: Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Fresh graduates: with management backgrounds are welcome to apply.
