A leading energy company in Malaysia is seeking an E&C Risk Governance Lead to manage risk within the Ethics and Compliance Office. This role entails overseeing risk reporting processes, coordinating with relevant teams, and ensuring compliance with governance standards. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Risk Management or Finance and have significant experience in risk management practices. You will be part of the Shell Ethics and Compliance Office (SECO) organisation, reporting to the VP of Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Data, Assurance & Risk Governance. The SECO team culture is collaborative and supportive, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and ethical leadership. This role is essential in ensuring an E&C risk management framework is in place, with effective and efficient governance processes and structures that add value and meet the requirements of the Shell Performance Framework.
As the E&C Risk Governance Lead, you will have a multi‑faceted role that has responsibility for managing and coordinating risk management within SECO. You will work with SECO, SME legal leadership and relevant business/functional teams to identify and document potential and existing risks, aiding Chief Ethics & Compliance Officers (CECO's) risk reporting to Shell's senior stakeholders.
