A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced HR professional to oversee various administrative functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Human Resource, have at least 5 years of experience, and possess strong leadership and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English are required. This role may require travel and handling of foreign workers' affairs.
Our company is involved in the automotive parts manufacturing, plantation and trading business. We are now seeking highly motivated and performance-oriented individuals to fill the vacancy in our company.
To assist and co-ordinate with the General Manager and team to plan, co-ordinate and direct the administrative functions of an organization (which is not limited to the following) matters relate to Human Resource (HR), Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR), manpower, training and payroll.
To be accountable and responsible for all aspects of Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Management System including adherence to the company's other requirements with respect to the job scope.
Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating and monitoring HR policies and procedures in accordance with the Employment Act.
Maintain the work structure by preparing, updating and recommending job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Handle the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.
Prepare all employee correspondence letters, ensure all employee personal files are up to date and updated to the HR system.
Develop and/or coordinate training initiatives for various key roles including internal and external trainings.
Assist in all matters pertaining to foreign workers affairs.
Co-ordinate and assist in the Performance Management System and Key Performance Indices (KPI) of the staffs.
Manage the outsource employee’s performance and discipline by working closely with Manpower Agency (Attendance checking, invoicing, hiring and any related matter).
Administer matters relate to IR and ER activities in the company to meet the set objectives.
Handle employee complaints, grievances, any disputes and administer employee discipline process.
Possess a Degree in Human Resource or any related field.
At least 5 years’ experience in HR, IR and ER management.
Work experience in manufacturing specifically in automotive industry, is an advantage, as well as exposure to IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) work environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and result oriented with outstanding analytical skills.
Must be matured, self-motivated with strong leadership quality.
Good interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with all levels of management and operational employees.
Possess own transport and valid driver license and willing to travel as and when required.
Able to write and communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
