A digital financial platform in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive operational excellence and leadership across multiple business functions. The role requires extensive experience in operations management within fintech, lending, or banking, alongside a robust understanding of Malaysian financial regulations. The COO will lead teams to ensure customer-centric, compliant, and efficient services while fostering a dynamic and high-autonomy culture.
As we expand into the next phase of digital financial innovation — spanning fintech, ewallet and digital lending ecosystems — we are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive both leadership and operational excellence.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic compliance insight with operational execution. The COO will oversee and optimise key frontline and back-office functions, including:
Telesales — driving customer acquisition and conversion
Customer Service — ensuring best-in-class support and satisfaction
Loan Processing — streamlining digital onboarding and disbursement workflows
Collections — managing repayment performance and recovery strategies
You will work closely with founders and senior management to ensure our digital financial products are compliant, efficient and customer-centric, all within a lean, fast paced environment that values independence and initiative.
Lead and manage the daily operations across all business units to ensure smooth execution of financial services.
Work closely with Founders and senior management to translate strategic goals into operational results.
Ensure all products and processes adhere to relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks (KPKT, BNM, PDPA, etc.).
Build scalable operational frameworks that balance efficiency, compliance, and customer experience.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments to ensure data-driven decision-making.
Implement digital transformation initiatives to enhance productivity, automation, and risk control.
Lead, mentor, and build high-performing teams in a lean, fast paced environment that values independence and initiative.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law, Finance, Business, or Risk Management.
8+ years of experience in operations management (preferably in fintech, lending, or banking).
Strong grasp of Malaysian financial regulations and customer lifecycle operations.
Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional operational teams.
Highly independent, structured and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Passionate about building scalable and compliant digital financial systems.
Opportunity to shape the operational foundation of a fast-growing digital financial platform.
Hands‑on leadership over multiple business functions (Verification, Telesales, CS, Collections).
Dynamic fintech culture — high autonomy, rapid decision cycles and direct impact.
Competitive compensation with long‑term growth potential.
We are a digital financial product reshaping access to credit, payments and embedded finance.
Our ecosystem combines technology and customer experience to deliver inclusive, data‑driven financial solutions for Malaysians.
We value leaders who build from zero, move fast and thrive where others hesitate.
