Job summary
A leading multinational conglomerate in Malaysia is looking for an HR Assistant Manager focusing on Industrial Relations. This role involves formulating IR policies, guiding a diverse HR team, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and representing the company in disputes. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of experience in HR or Industrial Relations, along with strong leadership and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Industrial Relations or HR Generalist roles.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and current labour law practices.
- Ability to handle employee discipline, domestic inquiries, and grievances independently.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and review IR policies to promote industrial harmony.
- Lead and coach the HR team in managing grievances and disputes.
- Ensure compliance with Employment Act in disciplinary actions.
- Represent the company in Industrial/Labour Court as needed.
