Job summary
A leading engineering consultancy in Malaysia is seeking an Inspector of Works (IOW) to oversee construction projects. The role requires conducting inspections on pipelines and treatment plants, ensuring compliance with regulations, and liaising with various stakeholders. Candidates should hold a diploma in Civil Engineering and have 3-5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and bilingual communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential. This position provides opportunities within a professional setting.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years as an Inspector of Works (IOW) or similar role in the construction industry.
- Registered as an Inspector of Works with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM).
- Prefer experience in supervising water supply projects or infrastructure contracts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections on pipelines, reservoirs, and treatment plants.
- Record site activities and assist in progress claims preparation.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and utilities providers.
