Job summary
A logistics company in Johor is looking for an Assistant to the Production & Logistic Manager. You will help with planning the Weekly Collection & Delivery Schedule and issuing Daily Instructions to lorry drivers. Ideal candidates should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Logistics or related fields and have at least 2 years of experience in logistics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills are essential to thrive in this fast-paced role.
Qualifications
- Possess Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in logistics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Responsibilities
- Assist Production & Logistic Manager in planning Weekly Collection & Delivery Schedule.
- Issue Daily Collection & Delivery Instruction to lorry driver.
- Communicate daily & weekly trip planning to related departments.

To assist the Production & Logistic Manager in the planning for the following week' Weekly Collection & Delivery Schedule (WCDS) at the end of every week.
To issue Daily Collection & Delivery Instruction (DI) & give necessary instruction to lorry driver in the beginning of each day.
To assist Production & Logistic Manager of the issuing of Delivery Variation Instruction (DVI) & instruct the lorry driver accordingly.
Communicate to the related departments on daily & weekly trip planning.
To ensure safeguard & control of dumping coupon & ensure all custom form relating to the lorry are properly handled.
Ensure IMS requirements for logistic/ transportation is fully complied.
- Posses Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in logistics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with logistics management systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Able to work independently, handle multiple task, and meet deadlines under pressure.
