Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or related field
  • Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in IT support, networking, or system installation
  • Knowledge of networking including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, and basic network troubleshooting
  • Experience with printer sharing, Windows OS, and basic Windows Server administration
  • Familiar with hardware firewall configuration (e.g. Sophos, MikroTik, FortiGate, pfSense or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and willing to learn
Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot IT systems, network devices, servers, and peripherals
  • Provide technical support to end users covering hardware, software, networking, and printer-related issues
  • Configure and maintain Windows Server, user accounts, file sharing, and printer sharing
  • Assist in hardware firewall setup, basic security rules, and network access control
  • Perform LAN cabling, patching, testing, and network troubleshooting
  • Install and support CCTV systems, access control systems, smart boards, LED displays, and digital signage
  • Conduct system testing, configuration, and commissioning
  • Prepare and submit service reports after task completion
  • Perform on-site maintenance and support when required
  • Work closely with project supervisors and sales teams
  • Ensure installations and support work are completed safely, professionally, and on schedule
  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotation if required
