A leading healthcare company in Kedah is seeking a laboratory technician to perform chemical and physical analyses in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP). Responsibilities include testing samples, maintaining equipment, and ensuring proper documentation. Ideal candidates should have experience in laboratory environments and a solid understanding of health and safety policies.
Qualifications
- Experience with chemical and physical testing in a laboratory environment.
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
- Ability to maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
Responsabilités
- Perform chemical and physical testing for samples.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Document and record all test results.
To perform chemical and physical analysis in the chemistry laboratory and maintaining of all laboratory equipment, chemicals and glassware in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP). Responsible for the execution of all analysis as well as maintenance and calibration of the equipment in the Chemistry Laboratory.
- Perform chemical and physical testing for Incoming, Compounding and Dip Room samples.
- Ensure that test are carried out as per outlined in the Basic Operating Procedure (BOP).
- Responsible for preparations and standardizations of chemicals used in the lab.
- Responsible for proper documentation and recording of all test results.
- Responsible for maintenance and/or calibration of all laboratory equipment.
- Ensure adherence to company’s Environmental, Safety and Health policies.
- Support 5S activities in the laboratory.
- Carry out special projects as directed by Supervisor.
