A chemical manufacturing company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform analyses and report on test results for various goods. Responsibilities include preparing chemical solutions, instrument calibration, and maintaining workstation cleanliness. Candidates should have hands-on experience with GC and HPLC, and be able to work rotational shifts. A thorough understanding of testing standards like ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 is beneficial.

Formación

• Candidates with relevant hands-on working experience in GC and HPLC are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform analysis and report test results for incoming, in-process and finished goods.
• Prepare chemical solutions according to the work instructions.
• Perform instrument calibration and verification in the laboratory.
• Inform the superior immediately if the testing result was out of specification.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the workstation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the superior/manager.
• Rotational shift work (morning, afternoon or night).
