Job summary
An educational institution in Malaysia is seeking a Credit Control Officer to ensure accurate rebate adjustments and maintain contact with students regarding payment defaults. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field, along with 5-8 years of experience in credits and collections. Strong time management and problem-solving skills are essential. This role requires working under pressure and liaising with various departments regarding payment schemes.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of credits and collections experience.
- High level of integrity, mature, initiative and independent.
- Able to work under pressure and perform multiple tasks within tight schedules.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of rebate/discount adjustments.
- Liaise with Academic Departments on payment structures.
- Monitor and verify refunds requested by students.
Skills
Education
To check and ensure accuracy of rebate/discount adjustments.
To liaise with Academic Departments on Programme/ Course payment structures.
To work with the PTPTN Unit on the Programme/ Course payment Schemes.
To liaise with Hostel/ Accommodation Department on students’ accommodation billing.
To ensure Credit Control Unit follow-up closely with students on payment default.
To ensure monthly Debtors Aging Report are submitted for Academic Departments' review.
To monitor/ follow-up with PTPTN students’ payment status.
To conduct briefing for all new students on all payment schemes as per payment structure and/or as per Statement of Account issued to students.
To monitor and verify refund requested by students.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a related field with at least 5-8 years of credits & collections experience.
- High level of integrity, mature, initiative and independent.
- Able to work under pressure and perform multiple tasks within tight schedules/deadlines.
- Time management, problem solving and people management skills.
