A regional development council is seeking a Senior Executive for Investment Facilitation & State Engagement in Pahang. The position involves managing investor relations, supporting strategy implementation, and fostering relationships with government agencies and industry stakeholders. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and have four years of experience in investor management. Fluency in Bahasa Melayu and English is required, while knowledge of foreign languages is advantageous. This role will require local and international travel.

DIVISION: Investor Management

LOCATION: Putrajaya

Major Responsibilities

• Provide support on the implementation of strategy
• Generate targeted investment leads through marketing plans to create awareness about ECER, identify potential clients and promote industries with potential for development in ECER
• Provide assistance in domestic specific missions
• Provide assistance in specific seminars and conferences
• Provide assistance in briefing and dialogue with relevant industry associations
• Implement promotion of ECER industrial parks plan
• Engage and facilitate individual assigned investors
• Monitor the development of approved assigned projects
• Establish and foster good working relationship with relevant government agencies / authorities, industry players, investors and other related stakeholders
• Prepare papers/slide for the Implementation and Coordination Committee (ICC) Pahang (Investment)
• Prepare papers/slide for the Industrial Park Management Committee
• Prepare papers/slide for the ECER Incentive Package for assigned applications
• Prepare papers/slide for the ECER Expatriate Taskforce for assigned application for expatriate posts approval
• Prepare ad hoc management papers related to Investments and cross-divisional efforts
• Prepare opening remarks and minutes
• Prepare presentation slides
• Develop, demonstrate competency, capability and value‑added input in all tasks assigned to achieve superior performance
• Establish and foster good working relationship with relevant government agencies/authorities, industry associations and external agencies

Position Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Accounting / Finance / Economics or any other related discipline from a recognized university
• Minimum four (4) years of working experience in investor management in either manufacturing, agriculture, property, technology or other related sectors
• Good command of Bahasa Melayu and English. Knowledge in foreign languages is an advantage
• Strong networking is an added advantage
• Willing to travel both local and overseas
