A telecommunications company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to lead and implement network security projects. Candidates should have at least 7-8 years of corporate network security experience and hold relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP. Responsibilities include designing security infrastructure, managing network security solutions, and ensuring compliance with IT strategies. The role requires willingness to work in a 12-hour rotational shift and standby duties.
The Senior Network Security Engineer is responsible for working on network security projects, including the design, implementation, and operations of Network security infrastructure. This role involves working on technologies such as but not limited to Firewalls (Palo Alto/Checkpoint/Fortinet), VPN, IPS/IDS, NAC (Forescout/ISE), F5 Load Balancer, Routing and Switching and Symantec MFA.
We are looking for a technically strong candidate who is also willing to learn new technologies. He/ She will concentrate on network projects to implement solutions that align with the overall Infrastructure roadmap for network security. This role is focused on both operational support and project-based delivery.
Make an Impact by:
Gathering the Infrastructure requirements for all projects with infrastructure deliverables.
Prepare HLD and LLD diagrams that identifies all infrastructure components including Network infrastructure, Security requirements and Compute/Storage requirement for the solution.
