Job summary
A leading electronics manufacturer in Penang is seeking an experienced engineer tasked with managing product sustaining activities, driving performance improvements and cost reductions. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and has 4-6 years of experience, including manufacturing process expertise. Responsibilities include conducting optimizations, implementing continuous improvement projects, and updating documentation. Qualifications
- 4-6 years of work experience in a high-paced manufacturing environment.
- 2-4 years of manufacturing process expertise.

Responsibilities
- Management of product sustaining activities including performance improvement and cost reduction.
- Support product NPI in feasibility, characterization, and qualification.
- Conduct DOE and optimization for evaluation study.
- Implement continuous improvement projects for process optimization.
- Drive yield, quality, and productivity improvement programs.
- Update and generate documentation for process-related changes.
- Basic troubleshooting of systems and machines.
- Drive cost saving and simplification projects.
