A leading technology company based in Penang is seeking a Post-Silicon Power and Performance Staff Engineer. This role focuses on ensuring custom silicon products meet power targets and are optimized for use cases. Ideal candidates have experience in power/performance attainment for CPU, GPU, or APU features, thrive in matrixed environments, and engage with teams internationally. Qualifications
- Experience in power or performance attainment of CPU, GPU, or APU features.
- Thrives in a matrixed environment across multiple countries and time zones.
Responsibilities
- Own power / performance characterization for selected SoC features.
- Drive cross-site debug with Austin, Penang, and Shanghai teams.
- Mentor junior engineers in lab setup, analysis workflows, and correlation methods.
- Deliver insights that influence firmware and architecture decisions.
