Job summary
A leading technology company in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Program Manager to oversee multiple projects and ensure alignment with organizational goals. The role involves collaborating with various teams for successful product launches and managing the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing and project management, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or product development.
- 2+ years of experience in project management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage SKU setup and product lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with engineers in product development and launch.
- Track and report on project progress.
- Identify and mitigate risks to product launch.

Program Manager overseas multiple related projects/functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. - Manage SKU (OPN) setup / product lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians in the development and launch of new products.
- Develop and execute plans for customized SKU product manufacturing, testing.
- Include labeling spec, SW revision, Hardware changes.
- Reconfigure capabilities, test station maintenance, daily issues.
- Manage deployment of SW changes and system maintenance.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination.
- Identify and mitigate risks to product launch and production fulfillment.
- Track and report on project progress.
- Drive components clear to build and escalation to close the gaps.
- Identifying area of improvement in term of process and reporting.
- Work with AMD control suppliers, e.g., PCB, Mechanical, Memory, ASIC SOC Team on forecast planning, fulfillment and allocation split.
- Manages CM E&O and work with Business Unit Team on the exposure and fund for scrap.
- Validating CM consignment cycle count reconciliation and work with internal stakeholder for approval and SAP adjustment.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or product development.
- 2+ years of experience in project management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge in SAP added advantage.
- Preferred bachelor degree in business administration/engineering/supply chain operations.
