Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of collection and delivery, focusing on customer satisfaction.
  • Travel locally or outstation to liaise with intercompany, suppliers, and customers.
  • Plan and track collection & deliveries according to customer requirements.
  • Maintain logs and records of various orders and scheduling drivers.
  • Monitor petrol, TNG usage, and Credit Note status.
  • Assist in monitoring legal transport requirements and overseeing company assets.
  • Check driver’s claims, commission, and allowances.
  • Coordinate with finance department for payment arrangements.
  • Prepare delivery schedules for logistic teams timely and cost-effectively.
  • Analyze market trends for improving accuracy and effectiveness of forecast.
  • Manage orders volume and assist in vehicle purchases.
  • Respond to customer queries and complaints promptly.
  • Develop strategy for decreasing vehicle cost.
  • Study market needs & develop new delivery services.
  • Compile & analyze data of vehicle capacity utilization.
  • Maintain documentation for truck repairs or replacements.
  • Follow up repairs with in-house workshop and purchasers.
  • Ensure GPS systems functioning properly and organise repairs.
  • Schedule downtime maintenance of trucks.
  • Propose solutions for truck driver issues to management.
  • Organize logistic operations and driver education.
  • Arrange towing or rescue team for breakdowns.
  • Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans.
  • Ensure quality, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments.
  • Perform metrics reporting to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Make recommendations for service delivery process improvements.
  • Maintain communication with managers, staff, and vendors.
  • Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and yearly reports.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of collection and delivery, specifically with regard to customer satisfaction.
  • To travel locally or outstation, liaise and communicate with intercompany, suppliers and customers either in resolve the shortage, goods damage and other ad‑hoc matter to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
  • Plan and track collection & deliveries of final products according to customer requirements.
  • Maintain logs and records of various orders and executed orders and assigning scheduling driver’s according to availabilities and requirements.
  • Monitor petrol, TNG usage and Credit Note status.
  • Assist monitor legal of transport such as Vehicles Licence, Road Tax, Puspakom, JPJ and to oversee and execute all JPJ and legal matters regarding company assets (trucks and trailers).
  • To check on driver’s claims, commission and allowance.
  • Coordinate with finance department for any advance/partial/balance payment arrangement for any delivery arrangements.
  • Prepare delivery schedules to logistic teams in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
  • In depth analysis market trends for improving accuracy and effective of future forecast.
  • Manage orders volume and assist to plan and purchase company vehicles.
  • Responding immediately to customer queries and complaints and notifying them of any delays in the delivery schedule.
  • Develop a strategy for decreasing vehicle cost.
  • Study market needs & develop new delivery services programme.
  • Compile & analyses data of vehicle capacity utilisation.
  • To maintain a complete filing & documentation for every truck repair or part replacement.
  • To follow up repairs with in‑house workshop and purchaser and assist for quotations truck repairs are properly followed up.
  • To ensure GPS monitoring system is working well at all times; should repairs be required to organise repairs at workshop or designated panel workshop.
  • Supervise for inspection of trucks application (PUSPAKOM) minimum 2 weeks’ advance from Road Tax expiry.
  • Scheduling planned down‑time maintenance of trucks with workshop to ensure sufficient space and reduce overcrowding.
  • To propose to management twice a month on truck driver troubleshooting issues such as low trip commission trips, troubled trips & low truck efficiency.
  • To organise logistic operations, driver’s education and target by encourage drivers to create the most efficient routes and create reports of driver’s effectiveness, ensure all drivers follow all vehicle regulations and laws.
  • To be responsible for arranging towing or in‑house rescue team to assist truck drivers on unexpected breakdown situations (tyre puncture, malfunction, etc.).
  • Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management.
  • Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met.
  • Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Make recommendations to management for continuously improve service delivery process and identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company.
  • Prepare accurate daily planning reports, forecast report, weekly actual deliveries report, monthly defective report and yearly budgeting report to the Top Management.
  • Hold safety orientations and regular meetings with new drivers on safety procedures. Assist to prepare documentation of safety SOPs, Drivers Handbook Manual and actions to undergo for safety procedures in the event.
  • Creating and enforcing policies and practices for operation activities that focus on effectiveness, sustainability, and efficiency.
  • Making special shipping arrangement as and when necessary.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems.
  • Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time‑sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
  • Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Head of Department from time to time.
