Position Overview:
The Dietitian will play a crucial role in providing evidence-based nutritional advice and developing personalized diet plans to help our clients achieve optimal health and wellness. In this role, you will provide both in-clinic and online consultations, working with patients in a physical clinic setting as well as via telemedicine platforms. You will collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver integrated and holistic patient care, ensuring that each client receives the support and guidance they need to reach their health goals. This role primarily reports to a Medical Doctor and requires frequent collaboration to align business goals and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess individual dietary needs, health conditions, and lifestyle to create personalized nutrition plans for clients, patients, and the internal team as needed.
Provide evidence-based guidance on healthy eating, weight management, and specific dietary concerns.
Collaborate with doctors, healthcare professionals, and the telemedicine team to ensure integrated patient care.
Conduct both one-on-one and group consultations via in-person and virtual platforms.
Monitor patients' progress, offer follow-up support, and make necessary adjustments to their dietary plans.
Stay updated on current nutrition science and health trends to provide accurate, relevant information.
Educate patients about the importance of balanced nutrition and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
Assist in developing nutritional content and resources for online platforms and social media.
Assist with internal and external company activities/events, such as healthcare talks, as needed.
Manage customer relationships by addressing client needs, concerns, and inquiries, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and treatment plans using clinic and telemedicine systems.
Support clinic management with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and reporting.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor as required.
Requirements
The candidate must have at least a Diploma or Degree in a related field (Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science & Nutrition, or a related field).
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
Prior experience as aDietitian or Nutritionist is preferred.
Licensed by the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association (MDA) or Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC)
Proven experience in nutrition counseling, preferably in a healthcare or telemedicine setting.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a startup environment.
Resilient and adaptable to change in a fast-paced startup environment.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Office applications
Able to work staggered shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays.
