The role involves bookkeeping, preparing monthly and annual financial reports, ensuring timely accounting closures, and liaising with auditors. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, has at least 3 years of financial accounting experience, and is proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Strong analytical skills and leadership are essential in this role.

Job description

Account Executive / Senior Executive (Forest City & Kepong)

Responsible for bookkeeping and full set account of one of the branches accounts for property development company, precasting company and quarry, include prepare monthly management accounts and reports to group.

Manage monthly and quarterly accounting closing activities to ensure company meets set submission deadlines.

Prepare annual financial accounts for property company (including all branches) and provide detailed management information as required.

Liaison with external auditors and tax agents.

Ensure that all accounting ledgers are maintained accurately and all accounting reconciliations to be completed each month. Schedules to be provided as required.

Assist in cash flow management (cash flow projections and monitoring).

Cross-departmental coordination and problem-solving skills required.

Job Requirements:

Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance.

Experience in construction and real estate is preferred.

Minimum 3 years' experience in financial accounting,

Great analytical skills, leadership, self-motivated, high integrity and able to work under pressure / tight deadline.

Previous experience with annual audits.

General knowledge computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Power Point & Word.

Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin (Both Verbal & Written). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
