Job summary
A leading sportswear company is seeking a Retail Associate in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The role involves providing excellent customer service, being a brand ambassador, and achieving sales targets. Candidates should have at least a SPM/STPM/Diploma and a year of experience in retail, ideally in sports retail. Strong communication and a sales-oriented attitude are essential. The position is full-time, requiring work during weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications
- Must possess at least a SPM/STPM/Diploma in any field.
- At least one year of experience in the retail industry.
- Preferable with working experience in sports retail.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service and enhance customer engagement.
- Achieve daily sales goals and meet store targets.
- Maintain backroom standards and handle merchandise effectively.
Skills
Education
The Retail Associate is responsible in providing superior customer service, placing importance on brand experience and customer engagement. He/she will also serve as the brand ambassador, building strong relationships with the customers and meeting store targets by generating sales opportunities.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Consistently demonstrate the Under Armour selling standards in order to deliver a positive customer experience and achieve daily sales goals
Develop and implement cross‑selling strategies for appropriate products
Outfit the customer by suggesting key looks and incorporating latest trends and current promotions based on the customer’s individual style
Remain knowledgeable on products so as to enhance customer engagement and maximize sales
Execute efficient and effective handling of all merchandise from shipment processing, floor sets, markdown optimization and replenishment systems while maintaining backroom standards
Positions Available: Full‑Time RA
Hiring location:
Penang: Queensbay Mall
- Candidate must possess at least a SPM/STPM/Diploma in any field;
- Able to communicate in local dialects will be an advantage;
- At least one year experience in retail industry;
- Preferable with working experience in sports retail;
- Able to work with retail hours such as weekends and public holidays;
- Sales-oriented and good communication skill;
- Good working attitude, responsibility and punctuality
