Siemens Mobility Rail Infrastructure business supplies the global markets of rail and road-bound transport with innovative products and solutions for Rail Automation, Rail Electrification and in the area of intermodal mobility, apps and backend systems.

Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented
  • Collaborate with Technical, Commercial, and Asia Pacific Procurement team to develop optimal solutions with suppliers, aiming to achieve the best cost/benefit position during bid and project execution. This includes:
    • Participating in price negotiations
    • Ensuring procurement activities are in line with Siemens’ Limit of Authority guidelines
    • Comparing supplier offers based on price, quality, and delivery
  • Manage supplier performance and quality, with guidance from Asia Pacific procurement and Quality Management team
  • Manage procurement administration activities, including:
    • Issuance of Request for Quotations to suppliers
    • Creation and issuance of Purchase Orders, including obtaining approvals based on signature guidelines
    • Following up on deliveries with suppliers
    • Suppliers’ master data management
    • Review of open Purchase Orders
  • Initiate and support procurement-related improvement topics relating to digitalization
Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid
  • At least a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in procurement function, preferably in the engineering industry
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Effective communicator with strategic thinking skills, able to engage stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Ability to derive insights from data: skilled in preparing analytical reports and presenting information clearly and concisely
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Experience in SAP preferred.
