Job summary
A unique immersive media art museum in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Gallery Services Crew member for full-time employment. This role includes visitor assistance, exhibit support, and operational duties to ensure a seamless experience. Candidates should have strong customer service skills, be friendly, and be comfortable with basic technology. Applicants who can join immediately are preferred. A 1-year contract with flexible shifts including evenings and weekends is part of the terms.
Qualifications
- Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
- Friendly demeanor and strong communication skills.
- Comfortable using computers and basic software.
- Basic knowledge of gallery operations and safety is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors warmly.
- Help visitors with questions about the gallery.
- Ensure exhibits are used properly and address issues.
- Handle visitor feedback and manage ticketing.
- Keep gallery spaces clean and organized.

1. Visitor Assistance:
- Greet and welcome visitors warmly.
- Help visitors with questions and provide information about the gallery and its features.
- Offer suggestions to enhance the visitor experience.
2. Exhibit Support:
- Ensure exhibits are being used properly and check that interactive features work.
- Demonstrate or explain how to use interactive exhibits when needed.
- Quickly address any exhibit issues and report them to the team.
3. Customer Service:
- Handle visitor feedback and complaints in a positive manner.
- Assist with ticketing, admissions, and managing visitor flow.
- Help with setting up and managing special events and tours.
4. Operational Duties:
- Keep gallery spaces clean and organized.
- Monitor and restock visitor materials like brochures and maps.
- Support safety measures and follow gallery policies.
5. Team Collaboration:
- Work with other team members to create a smooth visitor experience.
- Join team meetings and training to stay updated on new exhibits and procedures.
Job Requirement:
- Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
- Experience in art, technology, or immersive experiences is a plus.
- Salary depends on relevant experience.
- Friendly and strong communication skills.
- Comfortable using computers, basic software, and Android QR scanners.
- Basic knowledge of gallery operations and safety is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer Malaysian only.
- Preferable Customer Service Experience.
Shift Schedule:
- Morning - 9:30am to 6pm
- Evening - 2pm to 10:30pm
6 days Working schedule, with 1 day Rest day.
Term based Employment with 1 year contract.
Looking for candidate who can join immediately.
Language: Proficient in English.
