Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Radiotherapy or Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy.
• Registered as radiation therapist with Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council.
• Fresh graduate with clinical attachment or 2-3 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer safe and accurate radiation therapy treatments.
• Design simulation plans for EBRT and brachytherapy as requested.
• Perform daily quality assurance tests on treatment machines.

Job Summary

• Administer safe and accurate radiation therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with Oncologists, medical physicists, and healthcare teams to plan and deliver treatments.
• Ensure patient comfort and provide clear explanations of procedures.
• Monitor patient progress and report any concerns to the medical team.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and hospital standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Design simulation plans for EBRT and brachytherapy as requested by the Oncologist.
• Perform daily quality assurance tests on treatment machines.
• Deliver precise radiation treatments such as 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SRS/SRT, and SBRT, brachytherapy and IORT.
• Perform image verification to localise and monitor tumours before and during treatment.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer their questions.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Radiotherapy or Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy.
• Registered as radiation therapist with Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council.
• Fresh graduate with 3 months clinical attachment or 2-3 years of working experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of radiation therapy principles, anatomy, and safety protocols.
• Skills in operating radiation therapy equipment and ensuring accurate patient positioning.
