Job description
Responsibilities
  • Supervision and coordination: Daily inspection of water‑related and exhaust systems to identify and resolve alarm issues.
  • Performance monitoring: Monitor equipment and systems, schedule preventative maintenance, and address malfunctions promptly to prevent downtime.
  • Cost optimization: Evaluate and optimize consumable items and energy use, recommend and implement energy‑saving solutions and systems to reduce costs and environmental impact.
  • Project leadership: Lead and oversee facility projects, including renovations, expansions, and the installation of new systems or equipment.
  • External coordination: Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers of facilities‑related services, maintain good communication and cooperation with contractors and perform work in accordance with the company’s and national environmental and safety requirements.
  • Internal coordination: Coordinate with equipment and production departments related to facilities and services, and promptly respond to and handle customer reports and issues.
  • Maintenance records: Schedule all monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance activities, and maintain up-to-date records of equipment warranties and inspection reports.
  • Audit requirements: Understand the audit requirements of ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001, and regularly improve and update operating procedure documents.
  • Personnel arrangement: Assign daily tasks to subordinates, cultivate their ability to handle matters independently, arrange maintenance plans, and carry out necessary maintenance, repair, and upgrade work.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant engineering field, with at least 3 years of experience as Facility Engineer.
  • Familiar with wastewater treatment, pure water treatment, and waste gas treatment processes (hands‑on ability).
  • Proficient in beaker testing of wastewater treatment systems and understand basic chemical reaction principles.
  • Understand electrical safety regulations, electrical functions, and basic principles.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin due to need to deal with Taiwan counterparts.
