Responsible for maintaining and managing Free Trade Agreement, Distribution Center Product Costing, Management of Service Depot Accounting, and Internal Controls of inventory.
Responsibilities
Responsible for Free Trade Agreement Applications (when applicable) end to end. This covers new application, annual renewal and managing audit (when applicable).
Responsible for accounting and closing (end to end) APAC Service Depot, including reporting, forecasting and budgeting cycles.
Responsible Lead in development and maintenance of standard cost system as needed (M-Plant / D-Plant) and ensuring compliance with Corp Guidelines and GAAP.
Establish controls to ensure the accuracy of product costing and inventory reporting including implementing procedures and policies, and ensuring compliance with company quality system and corporate accounting processes.
Provide ongoing support to Operations/Distribution team in areas such as "actual vs. budget" analysis.
Provide ongoing support to the Finance department as required.
Assist Cost Accounting Manager in special financial analysis / project support.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferable.
Minimum 5 years of cost accounting experience with a multinational company.
A background in medical devices, biotech, pharmaceutical, or similar industries is a benefit but not required.
SAP knowledge is an advantage; ERP knowledge is required.
