Job Summary

The Tool and Die Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and fabrication of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to support smooth production operations and ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tools, dies, molds, and fixtures.
  • Troubleshoot tooling issues to minimize production downtime.
  • Fabricate new tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Conduct tooling inspections and measurements to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Support production in resolving tooling-related problems.
  • Maintain tooling documentation, reports, and inventory records.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety procedures and company policies.
Requirements
  • Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
  • Experience in tool & die maintenance or machining is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of CNC, milling, grinding, and lathe operations.
  • Able to read technical drawings and use precision measurement tools.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willing to work overtime or on shifts when required.
