Job summary
A leading software company is seeking a Senior Revenue Recognition Specialist in Kuala Lumpur. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with revenue recognition policies and provides support to sales and finance teams. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in accounting within the IT sector and demonstrate strategic thinking and communication skills. The position offers a full-time employment status with no expected travel requirements.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to interact with senior management and stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of IFRS15 accounting rules, especially for cloud and software.
- Previous experience with cloud/software revenue recognition is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support the Customer-facing organization in structuring commercial proposals.
- Enforce compliance with SAP Group revenue recognition policies.
- Review cloud, software, consulting and maintenance contracts for accurate accounting.
