Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as business partner and provide sales steering advice to Commercial GMs and/or sales & distribution channels. Maintain open communication on market status and movements with GMs and GSA PICs to identify near-term and mid-term commercial opportunities.
- Utilize external platforms to maintain awareness on seasonal and ad hoc market developments to both proactively and reactively suggest (and implement) revenue management initiatives at a particular origin.
- Define, develop and maintain Teleport’s “right-to-win” sectors and markets to focus revenue management efforts, considering existing market share, terminal operational excellence and capacity type.
- Identify and deliver creative incremental revenue opportunities, i.e., adjustment of market rates, overbooking strategies in conjunction with interline team, no show management.
- Assess commercial quality of new and existing leads from GM’s, e.g., HBAs/SBAs/Pivot Weight deals with respect to market conditions, sectors involved and Teleport market share on any specific O&D.
- Review route network performance to identify profitability and revenue gaps, providing thoroughly researched plans to improve route profitability and influence stakeholders (Operations, Commercial, Product and Systems) for effective implementation.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven track record of driving sales and revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with dashboard tools.
- Strategic thinking and ability to influence decision-making.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Industry experience in RM, Pricing, or logistics; hospitality experience is also valued.
- 4+ years of experience in air cargo principles.
