• Champion effective employee relations and communication within the department, demonstrating a flexible management style suitable for the situation.
• Provide development and growth opportunities for department personnel, fostering and recognizing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Encourage employees to reach new milestones.
• Demonstrate respect for BSC's core values and a commitment to teamwork through management style.
• Promote quality and customer satisfaction in all departmental activities.
• Develop, train, and plan manpower to support sales forecasts and ensure G.M.P. compliance.
• Allocate resources to optimize customer service, inventory, procurement, delivery, and costs.
• Use available tools and resources to meet customer production needs based on sales forecasts.
• Coordinate functional resources to meet production objectives.
• Manage and monitor department budgets.
• Set priorities for production schedules.
• Coordinate the introduction of new products with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Logistics.
• Achieve budget targets related to product quality, departmental spending, labor efficiency, and yields.
• Ensure compliance with S.O.P.s and G.M.P. guidelines in business operations.

Requirements

• Degree holder
• 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in high-volume, regulated industries
• Proven track record with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or similar methodologies
• Experience leading continuous improvement projects with measurable outcomes
• Experience leading teams of supervisors and managers
• Full-time employee at BSC Penang
• At least a "Successful" performance rating in the latest review
• Not under an active Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)
• No Written Warning received in the past 12 months
• Not under a company bond
• Meeting all requirements in "Internal Job Application Guideline" on Penang Intranet
