Sika was first established in Malaysia in 1989 and full operations commenced in 1991 through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sika Kimia Sdn Bhd, with the completion of its local head office and production plant in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. In the Construction sector, our business activities cover the full spectrum of project types ranging from infrastructural development to buildings, from institutional facilities to manufacturing plants. We service our direct customers – concrete producers, contractors and distributors – and stay close to them through our central sales & marketing office in Petaling Jaya and a network of sales offices in Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuantan, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu. In Malaysia, our Industry Division is the clear market leader in the automotive glass replacement sector (AGR) and the “Sikaflex” brand is instantly recognized as a mark for quality, reliability and performance. In the automotive OEM sector, we are the approved supplier to top German car markets such as Mercedes Benz and BMW. Quality Management for ISO Management Standards
Become Quality Management Representative (QMR)
- Maintaining company accreditations to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and any additional applicable accreditations.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems (QMS). Develop and implement policies and procedures to meet quality objectives, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish and maintain the QMS, Conduct internal audits, review and approve changes to procedures, investigate non-conformances, and provide training on quality‑related topics. This team plays a crucial role in ensuring that quality standards are met throughout the organization.
- Assist external auditor & collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure the audit event smooth & meeting auditor expectation.
Become EHS Management Representative (EMR)
- Support and implement EHS Operational Control at sites (e.g. PTW, MOC, HIRARC, EASI, PPE, Committee, Hazard Hunt, Scheduled Wastes, etc.) inclusive preventive actions with internal / external stakeholders and coordinate monitoring and measurement activities.
- Collaborates with responsible people to implement Transportation and Distribution Safety (TDS) by provision of advices, conduct regular and spot check to site and third‑party facility to ensure compliance.
- Ensure the Trade Control policy as per local and international chemical regulations by implement Global Harmonised System and control product MSDSs and labels following corporate guidelines.
- Deal with local authorities for EHS inspections, permits of work and coordinate rectification if need arises.
- Coordinate EHS and Site Security activities and report security performance to Line Manager on a regular basis. Ensure implementation of information protection management via training, internal audit, etc.
- Managing the Company Emergency Response and Crisis Management Team and ensure its organisational functions are competent and well implemented. Ensure appropriate Project Emergency Response arrangements are in place, current and subject to regular tests. Assist in the accident and incident investigation process and reporting in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, controls, and measures. Manage the compilation and ongoing organisation of all corporate EHS procedures and plans specific to the needs of the business and review.
- Responsible for full spectrum of Environmental, Safety and Health (EHS) compliance of the Company and ensure procedural execution as per regulatory EHS regulations, industry standards and other requirements.
- Ensure on site activities are compliant with corporate EHS policies and requirements.
- Monitor, analyse and report EHS statistics, objectives, and targets for business improvement in a timely manner.
- Drive EHS training and cultures initiatives within the Company.
- Establish & maintain related process safety document
- Lead & audit process safety activities
- Apply company, and where appropriate, Client’s EHS Policy and EHS Management Systems.
- Hand on to motivate, coach and encourage all personnel in EHS matters.
- Manage & Control PPE stock issuance for Factory at Nusa Cemerlang.
- To assist and provide EHS activities support for the subsidiary company as required.
Perform other related duties as assigned or required by the Management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environment or relevant discipline.
Additional Information

- Minimum 3 years of EHS management experiences.
- Minimum 3 years of Quality management experiences.
- Knowledge of EHS laws, regulations, industry codes of practices and best management practices.
- A team leader and excellent in people management skills.
- Prefer holder of green book registered (SHO) with DOSH, competent CePSWaM & CePBFO with DOE, and well versed with EHS legislative requirements.
- Certified as Lead Auditor and familiar with other relevant industrial standards / codes.
- Ability to multitask, a team player and motivator.
- Experience of offshore industry is beneficial
