Senior Executive – Finance & Administration
- Handle full set of accounts, including Account Receivable (AR), Account Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Perform accurate and timely monthly and yearly finance closing.
- Oversee daily accounts payable, vendor payments and staff reimbursements.
- Prepare and submit tax filings, including SST and other statutory reports.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and financial statements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for strategic planning.
- Monitor receivable and payables, ensuring healthy financial cash flows and timely collection & payment cycles.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and bankers.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and deadlines (e.g., LHDN, SSM).
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for audit and internal controls.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain proper records for financial and administrative documentation (contracts, invoices, receipts).
- Manage office expenses and general procurement.
- Assist Directors with financial tasks or ad-hoc reporting requirements.
- Support HR-related finance tasks such as onboarding, payroll administration, and leave tracking.
- Manage payroll processing and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
- Verify and process employee claims and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Process Improvement
- Proactively assess and improve financial systems and workflows.
- Ensure internal control procedures and finance SOPs are current and consistently applied.
Requirements
- Professional Qualifications: Possess professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or a Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
- Relevant Experience: At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in full set accounting.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards and procedures, proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Statutory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Malaysia's statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, SST, LHDN, etc).
- HRD Corp Knowledge: Familiarity with HRD Corp (HRDC) claim processes, including eTRiS portal usage, grant applications and post-training claims, would be an added advantage.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy, organizational skills, and time management.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Organizational Prowess: Strong multitasking skills and ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic work environment.
- Adaptability: Able to work independently and collaboratively, contributing to a positive work culture.
