Job Description
1. General IT Support
- Provide first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and IT peripherals.
- Respond to support tickets and troubleshoot hardware/software issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform OS installation, software configuration, system updates, and basic user setup.
2. Network & Server Support
- Monitor network health (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi) and resolve connectivity issues.
- Assist in routine maintenance of on-premise servers, including checks, patching, and performance monitoring.
- Support basic configuration and troubleshooting of switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Provide end-user support for cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
- Troubleshoot email, cloud storage, and application access issues.
- Assist with user provisioning, license management, and access control.
4. Cybersecurity Support
- Enforce IT security policies including MFA, antivirus compliance, password hygiene, and secure access.
- Monitor endpoints and escalate suspicious activities or potential breaches.
- Assist in patch management, updates, and vulnerability scanning.
5. Face Recognition / Attendance Device Support
- Install and configure facial recognitionbased attendance devices.
- Ensure stable device connectivity and synchronization with the attendance system.
- Provide support for user enrollment and troubleshoot hardware-related issues.
6. Asset Management & Maintenance
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment and accessories.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, upgrades, and hardware replacements.
- Support secure disposal or reallocation of retired devices.
Job Requirements
- Hands-on experience in PC/laptop support, basic networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and cloud environments (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, endpoint protection, and IT security best practices.
- Experience with biometric or facial recognition attendance devices is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and respond effectively.
Salary Range: RM 2,000 - 2,500
Working Days: Mon - Fri, 8.30AM - 6.00PM
