Job summary

Assistant Manager Recruitment – Mandarin & Cantonese Language Support

Job Brief: The role’s responsibility is to assist the head of recruitment in identifying and developing new sources for recruitment to support the company’s growing needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the head of recruitment in identifying and developing new sources for recruitment to support the company’s growing needs.
  • Work with specialists, executives, and administrators to ensure adherence to recruitment processes at all times.
  • Conduct initial telephone interviews with potential candidates and schedule interviews as per project requirements and timelines.
  • Handle tasks pertaining to external recruitment portals and headhunting firms to increase recruitment candidate numbers.
  • Ensure that all recruitment data is tracked with both quantitative and qualitative reports.
  • Maintain recruitment data from applicants received through to successful/unsuccessful candidates (conversion rate, rejection rate, reasons for rejections, etc.).
  • Partner with educational establishments to create, plan, and deliver events and maintain contact with graduate fraternities for talent pool development.
  • Liaise with appropriate agencies to facilitate recruitment initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma holder, preferably in HR or Business Studies.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written Mandarin & Cantonese.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Technical recruitment skills and experience is an added advantage.
  • Quick comprehension and adaptation skills.
  • Ability to work under a certain degree of pressure.
