Role
The Day-To-Day Activities
A detailed-oriented and experienced SAP BASIS to support the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and optimization of U Mobile’s SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in SAP BASIS along with a solid understanding of SAP Netweaver architecture and system administration tasks. The role involves ensuring system high availability, performance, and security of SAP systems across development, quality and production environments. In addition, the candidate must possess strong project management skills for successful project implementations, upgrades and migrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform system administration for SAP systems including ECC6, PI/PO, Solution Manager, SAP SSO, OS on Windows and Linux servers.
• Conduct daily system monitoring, performance tuning, and log analysis.
• Manage system copies, client administration, and transport management.
• Plan and execute SAP support packages, kernel upgrades, and system upgrades.
• Administer SAP database (Oracle).
• Perform user and role administration in coordination with security teams.
• Perform user access matrix review and approvals on twice a year.
• Ensure system backups and disaster recovery processes are functional and compliance to SOP.
• Troubleshoot SAP application and infrastructure issues, coordinating with SAP support and hardware vendors as needed.
• Manage and maintain SAP integrations with third-party applications.
• Assist in audit, compliance, and SOC-related documentation and processes.
• Participate in SAP project rollouts, migrations, and landscape optimization.
• Create and maintain system documentation and SOPs.
• Provide support during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports to Team Lead

About You
Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent
• Preferably 3-5 years of working experience in Human Resource System Support
• Must possess excellent teamwork, positive attitude, interpersonal skills and initiative to learn
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC6 and Oracle DB
• Possess strong troubleshooting and analysis skills and SAP daily operations tasks including SAP Transport Management System (TMS)
• Good understanding of SAP security, authorization concepts, and audit compliance as part of SAP BASIS roles.
• Proficient in SAP Solution Manager for monitoring and change management
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is optional but preferred.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
