Job summary
A leading engineering firm is seeking a Resident Electrical Engineer (REE) to oversee the operations of the electrical department in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10-15 years of related experience, along with a Certificate of Electrical Competent Engineer 132KV. The ideal candidate will also possess advanced troubleshooting skills for Electrical Power Systems and be adept at managing maintenance programs. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the electrical field for degree holders.
- Hold a Certificate of Electrical Competent Engineer 132KV issued by Energy Commission.
- Registered with Energy Commission.
Responsibilities
- Lead the operations of the Electrical department.
- Perform 132KV switching operation and liaise with TNB NLDC.
- Manage and plan the Preventive Maintenance program.
- Monitor and identify improvement requirements for electrical and instrument systems.

Perform Resident Engineer duties as per Energy Commission requirement from time to time.
Monitoring & identifying the needs for electrical & instrument improvement, competency & action plan with knowledge in troubleshooting PLC & SCADA.
To plan & check on the implementation of electrical & instrument maintenance, installation, services and repairs

- Hold a Certificate of Electrical Competent Engineer 132KV Issued by Energy Commission.
- Experience in Operation & Planning of 132KV & 11KV System.
- Required to registered with Energy Commission
- Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including creating and delivering presentations
- Advanced skills in critical software applications, such as Microsoft Office and Solid works
- Expertise in data and problem analysis and creative problem solving
- Up-to-date knowledge and technical skills required to design and operate our core products and service
