Job summary
A leading human resource management firm in Selangor is looking for an Electronics Engineer to handle product lifecycle management, generate obsolescence monitoring reports, and develop documentation. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Electronics Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Silicon Expert and product life cycle management is a plus. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently are essential. This is a permanent position offering opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in design or product engineering.
- Good working knowledge of product and obsolescence engineering.
- Strong personal work ethics and able to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and generate reports for obsolescence monitoring.
- Maintain product specifications and documentation.
- Develop knowledge database of lessons learnt.

- Conduct and generate reports for obsolescence monitoring of rail products
- Responsible for maintaining product specification of rail products
- Develop and maintain product documentation for projects
- Responsible for maintaining product lifecycle record

- Search for alternative standard components using specialist knowledge/comparison tables.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering with at least 3 years in design or product engineering
- Good working knowledge of product and obsolescence engineering
- Good working knowledge of Silicon Expert
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of standards, REACH, RoHS, EN 50155, EN 50121-3-2, EN 61373, EN 60068, EN 45545-2, is an added advantage
- Knowledge of product life cycle management is an added advantage
- Capable of independent judgement and creativity in problem solving
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong personal work ethics
- Able to work well independently and with cross functional teams
- Able to monitor and drive issues to closure in timely manner
- Able to work in deadline-oriented environment
- Willing to take up extra responsibilities
