Job summary

A company specializing in environmental management located in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a candidate who will oversee waste to energy and waste water treatment operations. Responsibilities include daily planning and operation as well as leading a test lab. Candidates should have a degree in Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering, with 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Melayu is required. Exposure and involvement in waste to energy plant and boiler operation.

To in-charge of overall waste to energy process and application on all department/Company.

To identify and implement cost saving exercise initiated by department or Company.

To responsible on the daily planning and operation of the waste to energy Plant.

To lead the test lab and ensuring the all test results are compliance to requirement.

Analyze problems and take appropriate action to ensure continuous process and reliable operation of equipment and systems.

Liaise with government authority department whenever needed.

Handle any improvement project that related to waste to energy.

Assist in any ad-hoc projects assigned.

To in-charge of overall daily waste water treatment process and operation.

Ensure the process are follow and compliance with legal requirements.

Job Requirements

Degree in Chemical / Environmental / Mechanical Engineering only

Minimum 1-2 years working experience in waste water treatment plant/ waste to energy plant / boiler operation will added advantages

Knowledge in environmental act & waste treatment will be added advantage

Fresh graduate with good knowledge in waste water treatment process or process /chemical/ environment engineering is encouraged to apply

Fluent in English, Mandarin, & Bahasa Melayu language. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Able to work outside normal office hour and on field / site

Able to work under tough environment and handle pressure well

Possess good interpersonal, communication skill and a team result oriented person

Willing to work at Banting (near KLIA2, Banting)

Hostel will be provided for those from outstation Selangor – Banting (Near KLIA2, Banting)
