A leading energy management company seeks an Employee Relations specialist in Penang. This role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR operations, focusing on employee communications, disciplinary processes, and compliance with Malaysian labor laws. The ideal candidate should possess strong conflict resolution skills, be adept at maintaining confidentiality, and excel in communication. Responsible for handling employee enquiries, supporting disciplinary processes, coordinating investigations, maintaining accurate ER documentation, and ensuring compliance with the Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, and company policies.
The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, exercise sound judgement, maintain strict confidentiality, and support a positive and fair workplace environment. This role will also support internal communication activities and act as a key liaison between employees, supervisors, and the HR team.
