A leading food production company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily production activities and ensure product quality. 2‑5 years of proven work experience in food/drink production, manufacturing, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000).

Proficiency in production‑management tools and software.

Responsibilities
Production Management: Oversee daily production activities, monitor schedules and ensure timely delivery of products; plan and allocate resources to meet production targets.
Quality Control: Ensure all products meet company’s quality standards and regulatory requirements; conduct regular inspections and quality checks during production processes; implement and maintain HACCP, GMP or ISO 22000.
Team Supervision: Lead and manage a team of production workers; provide training, performance management, guidance and resolve operational issues; foster a safe and positive work environment.
Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process improvement to increase productivity and reduce waste; monitor production metrics and report performance to senior management; collaborate with maintenance to minimise equipment downtime.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with local, national and international food safety regulations; conduct audits of equipment and processes; train staff on hygiene and safety protocols.
Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with procurement and inventory teams to maintain adequate stock levels; manage raw‑material usage to prevent shortages or over‑stocking; minimise waste during production.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate production records (output, downtime, quality reports); prepare and present reports on performance and improvement plans.
