Process Engineer jobs in Malaysia

We are hiring Process Engineers across three key manufacturing areas for a global MNC medical device manufacturer in Malaysia. This role supports process development, equipment performance, and continuous improvement for high-precision medical device production.

• Develop, validate, and improve manufacturing processes to achieve stable quality and high efficiency.
• Own production equipment performance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance planning.
• Drive root-cause analysis, CAPA, DOE, SPC, and yield improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, GMP, QMS documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Support NPI builds, process qualifications, and cross-functional engineering initiatives.

• Optimize SMT processes: stencil printing, pick & place, reflow soldering.
• Manage equipment such as SPI, AOI, X-ray, reflow ovens, and placement machines.
• Improve solder joint quality, reduce defects (tombstoning, bridging, opens).
• Conduct reflow profiling, stencil reviews, and DFM/DFT for PCB assemblies.

• Experience in SMT operations and IPC standards.
• Familiarity with SMT programming and inspection systems.

• Set up and optimize injection molding parameters for plastic components.
• Lead mold trials, tooling validation, and troubleshooting of defects (flash, short shots, burn marks, warpage).
• Collaborate with tooling vendors and support mold flow/DFM reviews.
• Manage material handling for medical-grade polymers.

• Hands‑on injection molding experience.
• Knowledge of mold flow analysis and molding equipment.

• Develop and sustain extrusion processes for tubing or polymer components.
• Define extrusion parameters (melt temp, screw speed, line speed, cooling).
• Resolve defects such as gel formation, dimensional variation, surface quality issues.
• Support die/tooling setup, dimensional control, and process qualifications.

• Experience with polymer extrusion lines.
• Understanding of extrusion tooling and medical‑grade materials.
