A leading engineering firm in Malaysia is seeking a project assistant to support the Project Management team in contract administration, proposal preparation, and project monitoring. The ideal candidate must have a degree in any engineering discipline, along with strong communication skills in English and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively under pressure. This role is particularly suited for candidates from Sabah and Sarawak.
Assist Project Management team in administration of contracts.
Assist in the preparation of tender/proposal, project presentation, procurement, technical specification for bidding process and dealing with client.
Assign project personnel to specific phases or aspect of project such as technical studies, technical plans, product testing and other.
Planning and monitoring project activities.
Control expenditures within limitation of project budget.
Prepare interim and completion project reports.
Any others special task assigned by management.
Degree in any discipline related to any Engineering field with min 2nd class upper final result. (Fresh graduates with strong academic qualification are encouraged.)
Good command in English speaking, writing and reporting.
Ability to work independently with good problem‑solving skill and an attention to details.
Able to work as a team and meet deadlines.
Good interpersonal and communications skills and require to liaise with vendors, suppliers and Clients.
Self‑motivated, self‑learner and able to work under pressure and long hours.
Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast‑paced work environment and perform any ad‑hoc task given from time to time.
Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations.
