Job summary

A leading human resource management firm in Selangor is looking for an Electronics Engineer to handle product lifecycle management, generate obsolescence monitoring reports, and develop documentation. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Electronics Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Silicon Expert and product life cycle management is a plus. • Conduct and generate reports for obsolescence monitoring of rail products
• Responsible for maintaining product specification of rail products
• Develop and maintain product documentation for projects
• Responsible for maintaining product lifecycle record
• Develop and maintain knowledge database of lessons learnt
• Search for alternative standard components using specialist knowledge/comparison tables.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Electronics Engineering with at least 3 years in design or product engineering
• Good working knowledge of product and obsolescence engineering
• Good working knowledge of Silicon Expert
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Knowledge of standards, REACH, RoHS, EN 50155, EN 50121-3-2, EN 61373, EN 60068, EN 45545-2, is an added advantage
• Knowledge of product life cycle management is an added advantage
• Capable of independent judgement and creativity in problem solving
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong personal work ethics
• Able to work well independently and with cross functional teams
• Able to monitor and drive issues to closure in timely manner
• Able to work in deadline-oriented environment
