Analyst Associate – Wholesale/Corporate Business Division

Position Overview
As an Analyst/Associate - Wholesale/Corporate Business Division, your role will primarily focus on business development, client acquisition, and deal structuring. You will be responsible for identifying and onboarding corporate clients seeking financing solutions, structuring loan deals, and collaborating with internal teams, particularly the credit department, to ensure successful execution. Building and maintaining strong client relationships will be key to driving the company’s growth. Your role will require a deep understanding of corporate finance, risk management, and tailored financial solutions to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Proactively identify and pursue potential corporate clients seeking financing solutions.
- Develop strategic business plans to target key industry sectors and build a strong pipeline of potential clients.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to pitch financial products and solutions.
- Negotiate and close financing deals in line with company objectives.
Loan Structuring & Deal Execution
- Structure customized financing solutions tailored to client needs.
- Work closely with the credit department to facilitate credit assessments and risk evaluations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to oversee the end-to-end loan approval and disbursement process.
- Ensure all loan structuring adheres to regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
Collaboration with Credit Department
- Propose loan structures and terms based on client requirements and market conditions.
- Liaise with the credit department to support their credit analysis and risk management processes.
- Assist in providing relevant business insights and market intelligence to aid in credit decisions.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing timely support.
- Offer financial advisory services to help clients optimize their borrowing strategies.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Provide insights and strategic recommendations to management.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in corporate banking, business development, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, credit structuring, and risk assessment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve business goals.
- Proficiency in English and Malay.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
