This vacancy is within our Group Investment Banking & Islamic Banking division within the Corporate Finance department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidate is expected to assist in execution of corporate finance transaction which involve:

1. Due diligence review of transactions;
2. Preparation of announcements, circulars, submissions and offering documents for the corporate finance transactions handled by the investment bank;
3. Co-ordination of other professionals involved in the corporate finance transactions;
4. Liaise with regulators on the processing of submissions for the corporate finance transactions handled by the investment bank.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree and/or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business Studies from an institution recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
2. Candidates with minimum 5 years solid working experience in corporate finance/corporate advisory/accounting/finance. Experience in the areas of initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, securities issues and corporate finance transactions are essential.
3. Good understanding of the rules, regulations and guidelines issued by SC, Bursa Securities, BNM and MITI and other guidelines relevant to corporate finance matters is essential.
4. Ability to manage different projects concurrently, self-motivated by organizational objectives, goals and targets vis-à-vis personal objectives, goals and targets.
5. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Strong analytical and risk management skills.
8. Prior experience in CF within boutique investment firm (desirable).
