Job summary
A consulting firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an accounting professional to handle daily data entry, process invoices, and assist with financial reporting. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate records, support month-end closures, and ensure compliance with company policies. Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting data entry and maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
- Process supplier invoices, staff claims, and petty cash reimbursements.
- Prepare cheque payments and assist in bank reconciliation.
- Update and maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in monitoring project expenses and data compilation for financial reporting.
- Support in month-end closing and preparation of simple financial summaries.
- Coordinate with site and project teams on submission of invoices and supporting documents.
- Ensure all accounting records are maintained in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in any other ad hoc accounting or administrative tasks as assigned.
