About the Role

We are seeking a talented Accounts Officer to join our dynamic team at Aik Bee Construction Sdn Bhd in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. As an Accounts Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's financial records and ensuring efficient accounting operations. This is a full‑time position that offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Processing invoices, managing payments, and reconciling bank statements
• Preparing monthly financial reports and statements for management review
• Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders, such as suppliers and clients
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Providing administrative support to the finance team as required

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or degree in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in an accounts officer or similar role, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel)
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
