We are expanding our team and hiring a Junior / Entry-Level SQL Server Database Platform Technician to join our team in Kuala Lumpur.

As part of the SQL Server consultant team, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing client's SQL Server databases to ensure high availability, security, and performance. You will also be involved in support capacity planning, troubleshooting, and applying best practices to strengthen database servers.

• Candidate with less than minimum hands‑on experience must possess at least a Microsoft Certification issued by Microsoft such as "Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate MCSA" or Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900)
• Role: Entry-Level / Trainee - Fresh graduates who hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline is welcomed to apply.
• Role: Junior DBA - A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline with minimum 3 years (excluded internship/training) hands‑on experience in SQL Server Database Administrator / Database Management.
• Experience in SQL Server database administration, query optimization and backup/recovery strategies.
• Experience in real‑time database monitoring, troubleshooting and implementing security measures.
• Familiarity with AI, automation, and machine learning in database optimization (an advantage).
• Intermediate knowledge of database security, compliance and data integrity best practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Able to communicate with client at any level confidently.
• Ability to learn and work independently without constant supervision.
• Willing to occasionally work outside of regular hours or days to perform maintenance and troubleshooting when required.
• Growth‑oriented and love reading.

• Mid‑Level: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline with minimum 5 years hands‑on experience as a SQL Database Administrator / Database Management (excluded intern / trainee) is welcomed to apply.
• Senior DBA: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline with minimum 8 years hands‑on experience in SQL Server Database Management is welcomed to apply.

• Proficiency in SQL Server database administration, query optimization and backup/recovery strategies.
• Extensive experience in real‑time database monitoring, troubleshooting and implementing security measures.
• Familiarity with AI, automation, and machine learning in database optimization (an advantage).
• Solid knowledge of database security, compliance and data integrity best practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Able to communicate with client at any level confidently.
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Willing to occasionally work outside of regular hours or days in short notice or immediately to perform maintenance and troubleshooting when required.
