The College of Computing and Informatics (CCI), affiliated with Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), was established as an independent college of education in September 2003. It evolved from the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology under the College of Engineering, which originated in 1997. Since its inception, CCI has grown significantly, with a state‑of‑the‑art facility inaugurated in September 2004, serving as its operational hub. The college is committed to producing graduates who excel not only in computer science and information technology but also exhibit strong personal attributes. Based in Kajang, CCI aims to be at the forefront of innovation and education in the field of computing and informatics.
This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Professor, Associate Professor, or Senior Lecturer located in Putrajaya Campus, Kajang. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in computer science and information technology, conducting research in relevant fields, mentoring and supervising students, as well as participating in curriculum development. Additional tasks include contributing to the academic and administrative initiatives of the college, engaging in professional development activities, and collaborating with colleagues in fostering a vibrant academic environment.
- Strong expertise and teaching experience in computer science, information technology, or related fields
- Proven ability to conduct independent research and publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals
- Excellent mentoring, communication, and interpersonal skills for guiding undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Experience in curriculum development and academic program planning
- Ability to contribute to the college's goals of innovation, leadership, and educational excellence
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline
- Areas of Specialization: Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science & Analytics
- Demonstrated commitment to academic excellence and collaboration with industries or academic institutions is an advantage
