With the endorsement of the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia, Manipal International University underwent a name change to MILA University in 2023. As part of our mission to establish a premier engineering and computing institution in Asia, MILA University is actively seeking applications for teaching positions within the School of Business & Management, School of Engineering & Computing and School of Education.

We are particularly interested in candidates specializing in the following areas:

• Logistics / Supply Chain Management (Senior Lecturer / AP)
• Business Analytics (Senior Lecturer / AP)
• Computer Science (Lecturer)
• Education - Education Leadership Management (Dean / Head of Program / Senior Lecturer)
• Chemical Engineering (Senior Lecturer / AP)

• Contribute to curriculum development, innovation, enhancement, and quality assurance in the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum.
• Develop and deliver innovative teaching, learning and assessment experiences for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Conduct active research, maintaining an active record of high-quality Scopus indexed publications, conference presentations and grants securement.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of a research strategy aligned with the university priorities.
• Contribute to the development of strong collaborations with other universities and with government, industry and/or society to drive research impact and educational excellence.
• Contribute to the administration tasks of the school/department, including coaching, mentorship, leadership and effective performance management.
• Contribute to the administration tasks of the school/department.

• A Doctoral degree, a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Management / Entrepreneurship / Computer Science / Media & Mass Communications / Education Leadership / Marketing / Finance / Chemical Engineering).
• Candidates with teaching experience and research / project consultation / industry experience are preferred.
• Strong knowledge in teaching diverse courses in the related field.
• Active involvement with scholarly activities in Scopus indexed peer-reviewed journal publications with a Google h-index of at least 3 is an added advantage.
• Familiar with MQA documentation for computing and accreditation processes is an added advantage.
• Familiar with Outcome Based Education (OBE) requirements is an added advantage.
• Have supervision experience for completed PhD or Master students as main supervisor in computer science is a strong advantage.
• Responsible, good work ethics, helpful nature, highly cooperative with a teamwork-oriented mindset are required.
• Able to report for duty as soon as possible.
