About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Customer Service Executive to join our dynamic team at Worldgate Express Services Sdn Bhd. As a Senior Customer Service Executive, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our valued customers in the sea export freight forwarding industry. This full-time position is based in our Puchong, Selangor office.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate all customer service activities related to sea export freight forwarding operations
• Liaise with customers to understand their shipping requirements and provide tailored solutions
• Prepare and process all necessary export documentation accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of freight services
• Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to customers
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a prompt and professional manner
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service and suggest process enhancements

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer service role within the freight forwarding industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
• Thorough understanding of export documentation and procedures in the freight forwarding industry
• Proficient in using freight forwarding software and technologies
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Teamwork-oriented with a willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Worldgate Express Services Sdn Bhd, incorporated in year 1999, is an International air & sea freight forwarding company offering total logistics solutions, ranging from air and sea freight, customs clearance, warehouse, trucking and haulage services.

Our strength is that we possess our own licenses and assets, eliminating the need to outsource, hence able to provide competitive rates with quality services. We are also Halal certified, ISO9001:2015 certified, and a member of IATA, FIATA, and FMFF.

As for assets, we have 2 bonded warehouses in Penang airport and KLIA airport, and a Grade-A non-bonded warehouse (100,000 sq ft) with GDPMD certification in Port Klang. We also have our own trucks (17) and prime movers (15) with 103 trailers to cover the delivery throughout Peninsular Malaysia.

We currently have a workforce of about 180 employees covering Kuala Lumpur, KUL airport, Port Klang, Penang, and Melaka.

With a staffing policy based on experience, expertise and competent work knowledge and performance, we are able to provide the kind of personalized services as demanded by our clientele. Our excellent rapport, being developed and enhanced over the years with the carriers, cargo terminal operators, agents and the customs, we serve to support our objective of providing "The Best Services", satisfying and meeting our clientele continuous demand for service.
