Job summary
A leading consumer electronics firm in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced professional to oversee sales targets and product management for the Mobile Phone/PAD category. This role requires at least 3 years of experience in category operations and fluency in English. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and drive sales performance. Strong analytical skills and a passion for sales are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English for business communication.
- At least 3 years of experience in offline category operation in consumer electronics.
- Strong ability to propose actionable optimization strategies.
Responsibilities
- Set and monitor sales targets for mobile phones and tablets.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle and develop launch plans.
- Collect and analyze market and competitor information.
Skills
Education
- Set and monitor sales targets for the Mobile Phone/PAD category on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Ensure consistent follow-up and achievement of category goals
- Oversee the full product lifecycle: introduction, growth, maturity, and end-of-life stages
- Develop launch plans based on product features, selling points, and competitor analysis
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful product launches and measurable results
- Drive sales performance for the Mobile Phone/PAD category
- Conduct regular sales analysis, prepare review summaries, and refine trading
- Collect and analyze market, industry, and competitor information
- Conduct product positioning and analysis to formulate effective “Hit Plans” and retail strategies
- Monitor product performance throughout its lifecycle, summarize lessons learned, and propose optimization solutions
- Bachelor’s degree or above, with fluency in English for business communication
- Passionate about sales, with at least 3 years of offline category operation experience in the consumer electronics industry
- Strong ability to monitor and analyze category performance, industry trends, and competitor activities, with actionable optimization proposals
- Excellent communication and cross‑department collaboration skills; resilient under pressure and able to drive efficient execution
- Clear logical thinking, strong execution capability, and proven data analysis and problem‑solving skills
