Job summary
A manufacturing company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to conduct inspections of materials and components, liaise with production teams on quality issues, and generate inspection reports. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a metal parts manufacturing environment and possess relevant qualifications. Strong organizational skills and basic technical knowledge are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year of QC experience in a metal parts manufacturing environment.
- Self-motivated, highly resourceful, and organized individual.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 auditing is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections of incoming materials and components.
- Liaise with inter-departments about production quality issues.
- Generate reports of QC inspections and initiate Non-conformance Reports.

Primary function e-Cabinet inspection & accessories inspection reports generation.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, the e-cabinet, and accessories by strictly following the work instructions and procedures and notifying the QA/QC engineer of problems.
- Liaise with inter-departments on production quality issues.
- Initiate issuance of Non-conformance Report as necessary.
- Generate required reports of QC Inspections.
- Proper parts handling between Store & QC.
- Perform daily audit checks on production 5S, ESD and Temperature/Humidity.
- Propose any improvement in the production process to improve product quality.
- Other duties as and when assigned.
- Must pass SPM/SPM(V) / Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) in Engineering and above.
- Min. 1 year QC experience in a metal parts manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of surface finish requirements, and good measuring in fabrication parts, fixtures, and jigs is preferred.
- Self‑motivated, highly resourceful, and organized.
- Use basic measuring instruments and basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- ISO 9001 or similar quality system auditing experience.
- Ability to communicate simple English cross‑functionally.
