Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The candidate will serve the needs of the Execution & Change Division and have the opportunity to propose and/or implement solutions for the efficiency of Zurich Insurance.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in business analyst responsibilities, operational excellence, and project management, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results.

Key Accountabilities

1. Leads the project resource planning, design, and implementation of business requirements and system modifications in projects/initiatives.
2. Leads and draws up the business requirements gathering (BR Document) with relevant stakeholders. Analyzes, documents, and reviews business processes requirements with product owners.
3. Communicates project deliveries with key stakeholders on a regular basis.
4. Leads creation and review of test case scenarios with product owners and system analysts to be used in testing, ensuring such requirements are incorporated.
5. Coordinates and manages business analyst tasks within projects, offering guidance and support.
6. Pre and post-delivery quality control to ensure higher benchmarks of project delivery are achieved for the division.
7. Overall project management responsibilities in project delivery such as project and resource planning for overall view to management team.
8. Adapts and applies different delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Lean/Six Sigma.

Education and Experience

Required:

1. Minimum 4 or more years of experience in a business analyst role, process improvement, data analyst, or similar capacity.
2. Proven experience in relationship management, business analysis, process improvement, and project management within a corporate environment.
3. Experience working in business processes and re-engineering including simplification, digitalization, and automation implementations.
4. Experience in new product and new distribution channel implementation.
5. Proficiency in business process modeling, analysis tools, and methodologies.
6. Delivered projects using methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.

Preferred:

1. Good understanding/working experience in computer programming concepts.
2. A team player with a good cultural fit to Zurich.
3. Good understanding of intelligent automation technologies and capabilities.
4. General insurance or CX/UI/UX domain capabilities.
5. Yellow Belt/Green Belt Lean Six Sigma, PMP certification.

1. Possesses excellent analytical skills that enable identification of root causes, assessment of opportunities, and driving of effective solutions.
2. Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
3. Demonstrates flexibility as needed, takes the lead on initiatives, and shows ownership and accountability.
4. Capable of quickly adapting to new methodologies, working under tight deadlines and stressful conditions.
5. Possesses advanced investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
6. Able to set team and individual goals, manage multiple tasks, clients, and projects simultaneously while appropriately balancing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
7. Possesses the ability to integrate customer experience into business process development and identify opportunities.
8. Customer journey mapping or low/high fidelity prototyping skills is an added advantage.
