Job Description

SENIOR TECHNICIANS – TEST MAINTENANCE

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for overall equipment uptime in Front of Line machines & fixtures
  2. Willing to work overtime when there is need to support operation or short of manpower
  3. Responsible for spare parts tracking, replenishment, update
  4. Work closely with in house automation team on new equipment release for buy off, installation
  5. Work closely with process engineering team on yield improvement related to machine & fixtures performance related
  6. Responsible for overall equipment up time
  7. Responsible to emphasize safety first attitude in ensuring zero accident occur
  8. Responsible to keep maintenance records per ISO requirement
  9. Responsible to achieve KPI being set by section manager
  10. Always pass down unfinished task to incoming shift to avoid duplication effort

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Diploma of Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics or Mechanical or Electrical.
  2. Minimum 5 years experience in die attached machines and wire-bonders will be an added advantage.
  3. Willing to work on 12-hours shift, independently and able to solve basic technical issues.
  4. Experienced working in high mix and high-volume manufacturing environment
  5. Good computer literacy and basic SPC knowledge
  6. Must exhibit a strong sense of analytical skills with hands on working attitude.
  7. Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
  8. Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage.

SENIOR TECHNICIANS – FOL PROCESS

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Monitor, maintain and qualify equipment, tools/ fixtures for production used. Perform periodic verification and calibration on equipment/ tools/ fixtures
  2. Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste in the production process, and improve yield.
  3. Seeking a detail-oriented candidate with proven experience in epoxy bonding processes to manage and execute high-precision assembly tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  4. Experience with optical alignment machines is a significant advantage for this position, as it will enhance the candidate's ability to achieve precise and accurate equipment setups.
  5. Observational skills to notice discrepancies, understand the manufacturing process in detail, troubleshooting at an appropriate level and involving senior members of staff
  6. Communication skill to communicate and interface well with peers, enhance teamwork
  7. Emotional intelligence
  8. Derive Continual Improvement and use of resources
  9. Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.

SENIOR TECHNICIANS - BACKEND/LABELING ENGINEERING

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Do 'whatever it takes' to meet or exceed our customers' expectation in compliance with the Quality Policy.
  2. Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
  3. Ensure compliance to Safety, ESD, ISO, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines.
  4. Responsible for providing technical support on labeling equipment per engineer instruction to ensure uninterrupted production.
  5. Responsible for troubleshooting electrical faults, debugging software bugs and performing the necessary repairs.
  6. Responsible for performing periodic verification and calibration of testers, printers, MOI and other automated equipment.
  7. Ensure preventive maintenance is done according to the schedule and proper documentation of all checklists are completed.
  8. Ensure minimum downtime and perform troubleshooting to minimize further rejects of the product or further damages to the machinery.
  9. Measurement: Repair time, conversion time and machine down time with 2hrs escalation to the management.
  10. To respond to the line issue swiftly to ensure smooth production flow and to ensure effective shift to shift feedback.
  11. To safeguard the labeling debug locator to eliminate unnecessary aging/scrap and provide an accurate rework disposition.
  12. Perform verification on the OSA & Barrel lens inspection and Visual mechanical inspection fallout as per Agile document.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Diploma in Science/ Engineering preferably majoring in Electronics or Electrical.
  2. Minimum 5 years of working experience in MNC industries.
  3. Willing to work on shifts, independently and able to solve basic technical issues.
  4. With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information/data.
  5. Familiar with test system, printers, vision software and a strong background in the equipment maintenance.
  6. Possess good analytical skills to resolve job related problems for timely corrective actions.
  7. Originate and develop sound ideas for process and technical improvements.

SENIOR TECHNICIANS – EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. To ensure all equipment are in good working condition, evaluation completed as per instruction and schedule as well as daily or shiftly products meet schedule. Accountable to Development Engineering Manager.
  2. Do 'whatever it takes' to meet or exceed our customers' expectation in compliance with the Quality Policy.
  3. Troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Perform PM on equipments to minimize unscheduled downtime.
  4. Supervise DL to meet daily or shiftly volume. Improving process and equipment to ensure highest possible performance hence optimize cycle time.
  5. Maintaining and improving yield on current and new products.
  6. Ensure quality products manufactured per schedule.
  7. Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.
  8. Derive Continual Improvement. Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
  9. Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
  10. Ensure compliance to Safety, ESD, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Diploma in Engineering preferably majoring in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or Software.
  2. Understanding of electronics. Knowledge in photonics and optical transceivers are an advantage.
  3. With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information and data.
  4. Willing to work on 12-hours shift, work independently and work with support teams as needed.
  5. Responsible for tooling modification, parts maintenance & workshop function.
  6. Responsible for equipment setup, trouble shoot, process improvement of the specific technical area.
  7. Assist engineers & perform any duties as directed by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
  8. Derive Continual Improvement.
  9. Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
  10. Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.
  11. Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
